五色の池塘
The many ponds in Goshiki-ga-hara
五色ヶ原には多くの池塘があります。池塘は湿原の泥炭層にできる池沼で、立山では、 餓鬼が飢えをしのぐ為に作られた田に見立てて「餓鬼田」と呼ばれています。
In Goshikigahara, there are many ponds called “Chitoh”. Chitoh is a pond formed in the peat layer of the marshland, and it is called “Gakinoda” in Tateyama because it is a rice field that was created to protect the hungry.
唯一名前が付けられた池塘 The only pond with a name.
